Pastor Steve Barry is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Christian Family Church International in Jupiter, Florida (USA) and Cape Town, South Africa.

Steve was born in Detroit, Michigan, but raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. When he was sixteen he made Jesus Christ the Lord of his life and soon sensed God calling him into ministry. After graduating from Rhema Bible Training Center in Johannesburg in 1982 he married his wife Gill and they soon entered full-time ministry as associate pastors at Christian Family Church in Johannesburg, one of the largest churches of its kind in Southern Africa with over ten thousand members.

In 1991, after faithfully serving as associate pastors for seven years at CFC Johannesburg, they were called by God and sent out by CFC Johannesburg to Cape Town to start a Christian Family Church.

Christian Family Church in Cape Town has grown to over two thousand members. In 1999, God led Steve and Gill to move to Jupiter, Florida to establish a Christian Family Church. The Jupiter location is a dynamic, thriving church.

Steve and Gill continue to oversee CFC Cape Town and travel there several times a year, however, they make their home in Jupiter with their four children.

Steve is anointed by God to teach the Word of God and is able to communicate the powerful life-changing truths of God’s Word with absolute clarity and simplicity while captivating his audience by his bold, dynamic presentation of a powerful message. Steve believes that the Word of God is to be preached in the power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit. Consequently many people have experienced God’s miracle working power through his ministry resulting in salvations, healings and changed lives.

Steve has a weekly TV. program called “Power for Life” that reaches over 600,000 homes with a potential viewer ship of over a million people.
